WOYWW 180

Good morning and happy Wednesday. Before I show you my desk I’ll give a shameless plug for a couple of activities going on over at Creative Craft World. We are busy with a daily Christmas Countdown and you can find a festive tutorial every day through November. We’ve also extended the date for our Scrap Map challenge to give everyone a chance to have a go at this manic time if year.

Sorry to hi-jack you. Now on to the real business of this post – to show you my workdesk and here it is on all its glory, buried beneath (some of) yesterday’s shopping haul from a trip with my sister to Gunwharf Quays (thanks for the choccie Advent calendar, Mal. :o)

14.11.12

BTW the white pens are on offer in Paperchase – 3 for 2. They are the Signo uni-ball, broad tips, and I don’t buy any other sort now. At the bottom of the pile on the left is a Tando Christmas Wreath kit waiting for me to decorate for another Countdown project.

Thanks for visiting my workdesk today. You can have a look over a lot more workdesks by visiting What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

I stick to the same pen as well. When you find one that does the job I think we all buy them in bulk. Enjoy your week.

Yay, smiley pot has been prominently placed for our perusal. We do come to look at the rest of the desk too, honest.

We must look into the paper chase offer, white pens are our new fad

I'm probably going to be in a Paperchase on Friday - are those pens particularly good for writing? When I find a good pen like that, I tend to stick to it. And is that Kirstie carft book any good - I waved between hot and cold with her, some things I like, others I'm not so keen on...
Julian and I went to Gunwharf Quays last year - good selection of shops!!

Hi Sue thanks for popping by and I am glad you enjoyed the visit ;-) I love the look of your Tando project and love a bit of Kirsty too - she is the Nigella of the craft world I think! Love the new vintage series she is fronting. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 30

Gunwharf Quays - as in Portsmouth? We love it there! We've had a couple of holidays in your area and so enjoyed Gunwharf Quays. I adore the Spinnaker Tower! It's totally brilliant.

I use those Signo uni-ball white pens, too, Sue - the best ones I've found for white journaling on my art journal pages. I get my pens from Tiger Pens which is a brilliant site, with extremely fast delivery.

You've got some great stash there from your shopping trip, and I love the effect of all the colours on your desk. Great smiley mug too! Have fun with it all.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog! Much appreciated. So glad you like my projects. You wouldn't like my ARTHaven at the moment though - I lose heart whenever I go in there at the moment because it's such a tip!!

Happy WOYWW,

Yes, I agree, it's hard to find a good white pen. I have a thick Posca one which is good for thick lines and I have just ordered a fine point white Sharpie, which are supposed to good. We will see. Thanks for visiting and I am very late getting around to everyone this week!

Your desk looks great this week Sue.

Mind you, a desk always looks lovely when it’s covered with new goodies to play with. Glad you enjoyed your shopping trip. I’m planning one myself next week to Barlylands, which will include a visit to Sugar and Spice….can’t wait.

Thanks for stopping by this week.
Happy Crafting!

I'm REALLY late getting round to people this week - family life getting in the way!

So, I figured I'd better pop in and at least say thanks for stopping by!
