Cre8tive Crop, Titchfield

I enjoyed a day’s cropping with Jan, Jackie, Lesley and Tamsyn today at Titchfield. We had a laugh and a gossip and did a bit of scrapping.

All the photos I scrapped today were taken in Cornwall in March. We had beautiful weather – I think that might have been our summer! The first page shows Michael on the beach at St Ives and the double layout is at The Eden Project. You’ll see from that page why I was scouting around for a hexagon punch. In the end I drew them with Word and made a template which you can see here. The cute cats and the seagull were purchased from Elsonbabe on Ebay. I love her little die cuts.

The last two pages are the ones I have done for the May kit available from Cre8tive.

As I was going to St. Ives

As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

Scrap Angels April page kit

in your easter bonnet

I was lucky enough to be in Cornwall earlier this month at the same time as a crop was on at Scrap Angels in St Agnes. It’s worth going just for Kerry’s home made cake! I bought the April kit (great value at £7.50) and made this page. How cute does Beth look in her hat? And how quickly is she growing up?!

UKS weekly challenge April Wk3

This week’s challenge was set by the Scatty Scrappers at UK Scrappers. We were challenged to

  • feature a birthday
  • use old paper
  • scrap 4 of something
  • use a colour pertinent to the weather

I have scrapped some photos from mum’s 80th birthday party last December. The group photo is of mum with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Baby Beth must have been asleep as she is missing! I used some Pink Paislee papers left over from my Christmas pages and picked blue to represent the cold winter weather.watch the birdie

Thanks for visiting.

UKS Weekly Challenge

This week, on UK Scrappers, we were challenged by darm to usecinderella

- a fairytale for the title
- a variety of paper products
- an animal photo.

Here’s my page. I remembered this photo of Ruby with Sophia’s slipper in her mouth which I thought was perfect for a Cinderella theme. I printed a clipart picture of a pumpkin coach onto Safmat and outlined it with Stickles. I cut out some elements of the coach from patterned papers and stuck them on the Safmat and finished off with a couple of brads for the door handles.

Scrapology April Challenge

This month’s scraplift challenge at Scrapology asked us to use lace. Here’s my page.

I have scrapped the latest photos of Beth’s milestones. She cut her first tooth on Monday – her 6 month ‘birthday’. Even though she was clearly feeling grotty the little love was all smiles and giggles for most of the day.

UKS Monthly Challenge

Here is my page for the April challenge at UK Scrappers. It is the first of many, I suspect, featuring photos from the lovely spring break Mum and I had in Paris last week.
