I can’t believe that Joseph is three already! Where does time go? Like most little boys of his age he loves Thomas the Tank Engine and his mum made him a fabulous cake featuring the train. I’ve made the circle on the sketch into a train track; I drew the circles with a pair of compasses (why is it a pair?) and pricked holes around the circles which I then joined together with a black pen to form faux stitching. I made the cross pieces by colouring silver peel offs with a black Sharpie.

Here’s my page for the March sketch challenge at Stuck?! Sketches.
I was standing at the base of the statue of William of Orange on Brixham Harbour when I noticed the seagull perched on top – bet you can’t get that advert jingle out of your head now! Sorry for the ear worm.

There’s a new sketch challenge on UK Scrappers. I will be publishing a new sketch there twice a month. I’ve taken a page from the UKS gallery and turned it into a sketch … this lovely page was created by CraftPopsy.
Not heard of UK Scrappers? Why not join the forum? You’ll find so much scrapping inspiration, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been before!

Hello and happy new year to you! Welcome to my first new sketch for 2017. My challenge to you is to use the sketch as your starting point and see where your creativity takes you. I don't mind what you change so long as I can see that the sketch is in there. Please link me to your page on a blog post, online gallery or Facebook page and be sure to mention my blog and add a link to this post. I will send a page kit to my favourite linky if you are in the UK (sorry I cant send overseas but I do welcome entries from anywhere in the world.)
