CCW Christmas Countdown - Day 4

close up A bit of fun for my Christmas project today – an emergency kit of reindeer noses. I first saw these on Splitcoast Stampers but Googling shows there are loads of them about. :o)

I’ve packaged some with a cheaper, printed label and a more lavish version with felt reindeer shapes, bobble noses and wobble eyes, all from Hobbycraft. I wanted to use Maltesers for the brown noses and consequently struggled to find the right size sweets for Rudolph’s spare nose. I eventually found them here, but I had to buy a whopping 500g bag of them – oh dear what will I do with all that chocolate? By the way, Maltesers are BOGOF at Tesco at the moment and one 135g bag is enough for 8 bags of noses. You could use brown and red peanut M&Ms if you are OK about the nuts.

Anyway – the tutorial is on the page tab at the top of my blog and if you leave a comment on this post (or on the tutorial page) before the end of our Christmas Countdown I’ll enter your name into a draw to win a kit to make 8 bags of reindeer noses.

I hope you are enjoying the CCW Christmas Countdown and will pop back tomorrow for Sarah’s very cute tree decorations.
