Rocking Your World Friday July 19

I saw a post on Suzy’s blog about reflecting positively on your week and I thought what a lovely idea – it is so easy to fall into moaning and groaning and missing the good things that happen. So … i am joining in with Virginia’s Rocking Your World Friday. I will try to find at least 5 things each week that have made me happy, lifted my spirits or simply given me a smile …

number-1 the week began on Sunday with a lovely family get together for Leo’s first birthday

number 2 Marilyn found out her injured knee is just badly bruised and not broken

number 3

Mum bought the bargain of the year – a nearly new mobility scooter for a fraction of its value

number 4 the sun has shone brightly all week and I have done very little other than laze in the garden with Michael

I drew the winner for my 100 followers prize … and out came Suzy’s name! Don’t forget to let me have your address, Suzy.

number 6

The Apprentice finished and my favourite was in the final I don’t want to put in any spoilers in case you haven’t watched it yet

number 7 the forms came through for my old aged pension so I am now officially an old biddy LOL or will be from September 6th :o)

number 8 I have managed to finish a bit of scrapping – the first is a page I did at a Scrap Angels class which was waiting for photographs, the centre one is for the UK Scrappers We Challenge You contest and the last a ‘just because’ page.

at the beach

made it kitchen

Thank you for visiting. :o)

That's a good idea & they are good things to be grateful for.

The Lo's are lovely, it's hard work getting in a chair as big as you. I love all Sophias sandcastles, I miss sandcastles! living near only stony beaches now after growing up in Devon. The little clothes line is so cute & that kitchen Beth's in looks super.

Oh thank you for joining, I love your list! Such happies, it makes such a difference to note the positives in life rather than dwell on the negatives! I hope you have a beautiful and blessed week ahead!

It is such a good idea to look at the positives and I think that's what I need to do right at the moment with everything that's going on.

Three great pages - love the photo of Sophia with the sunglasses on:)

Great post Sue, made me do some thinking too. May have to start keeping a small journal of just the good things each week.
Thanks for sharing.
