WOYWW 192

Wednesday’s come round so quickly and here you are again to have a nosey at my workdesk.

My regular visitors will know I recently acquired a sewing machine (named Albert as mum’s machine is Victoria lol) and I’ve been trying my hand at some sewing – something I’ve not really tried before. So far I’ve made half a dozen cushion covers and some new kitchen curtains. I’ve also had a go at making a tote bag big enough to take a 12”x12” box comfortably so I can use it for crops. For my first attempt I upcycled the old kitchen curtains! Here you go, my desk in all its glory …

And don’t worry, smiley pot fans, he’s here, behind the bag ..

Right, time for a bit of noseying around some interesting workdesks at Julia’s blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/. See you there?

ETA While you are here why not check out the CCW challenges here and here?

That is a very swish sewing machine. Mine is a very elderly Singer machine that was my mother's bought just at the end of the Second world War. Not sure if I could cope with anything more complicated. Thank you for your lovely comments on my lighthouse card. Have a good week sewing or doing whatever yo fancy doing. xx Maggie #20

Were you thinking of certain bears lodging a formal complaint if poor smiley pot was hidden from view? We keep contemplating a sewing machine but our fat paws would never be able to thread the needle.

Thanks for visiting the bears this week.

Thanks for stopping by Minnie! That's a nice sewing machine and I like your tote with the primary colored buttons on front! I just realized I've been bumped up to #126 and everywhere I've gone today I've said @125? Oh well it happens sometimes I guess.

It looks like the sewers (or sewist if you are in the usa)amongst us are taking over WOYWW at the moment I dont think JO realises what she has started. Albert seems ( sorry for the pun) to be doing a grand job. I still have my instruction at the ready when I dont know which button to press.
have a good week
