WOYWW 183

Here I am, three weeks before Christmas and still making cards!

We have an idea at CCW to make 5 cards on the 25th of each month through 2013 so that, when November hits us in the face, as it generally does, we’ll have 50 cards, all done and dusted. Hmmm will I keep it up? Well, I fully intend to … at the moment.

Anyway it’s Wednesday and you are probably here snooping at my desk, so here it is …

05.12.12

… centre stage is the card I have just finished for baby Beth and on the work mat is a pile of penguins waiting to be put on the last of my cards … then I’m done … yay!

Aww, that card is so cute. You have done well with the cards this year. I like the idea of making them throughout the year. I tried that last year and I didn't succeed, but I am always willing to give it a go! xxx

Love the card - I wonder what the collective noun for a group of penguins is?? A slide, a slither...hmmm, I'm going to have to look that up. Anyhow, there's one on your desk!!!

Congrats on the number one spot!! The CCW plan sounds good... but I find it really hard to Christmas craft even in November (feels too early for me!), so I think I'd probably be useless!!

Love the Beth card, and the penguins look so cute all lined up ready for action... Happy WOYWW!

Well done on top spot! your cards look nice and well done on nearly having them done - mine this year consisted of putting last years tags and left overs onto cards so it does help to be ahead if you can! Sunshine Girl - no 21.

Good 25th plan...I like it! Being that I work in retail and we have Christmas for 3 months not just 3 days, I get a bit grumpy come December - so I might adapt your idea and try to buy a small pressie on the 25th of each month next year, to see if I can stave off some Xmas stress! Have a good WOYWW, Deb # 106 x

WOW NO 1 this week. I joined Rudolph Day at the start of this year, the idea being to make at least one card on the 25th of the month. I had actually got enough cards done by August, but I still have not done the inserts or written them, so time is still very short. Good luck with your resolution. xx Maggie #62
