Here we are … another Wednesday … and lots of lovely workdesks to visit. First of all I need to apologise for posting last week then not visiting a single desk *hangs head in shame*. In my defence, I was away at a retreat all week and internet access was dire. Anyway, I promise to go to loads of blogs this week and leave comments all over the place to make up for my shoddy behaviour last week. So … onto my desk. You can see two minibooks I’ve just finished using the fab tutorial by my friend, Jackie, my treasured jar of dolly pegs dressed in baker’s twine some apparently are wearing butcher’s twine, which is thicker, I’m told smiley pot of course a new teeny flower punch I bought at The Range yesterday, my 6x6 scraps box waiting to be sorted and my little trolley full of Stickles. I think that’s everything that might be interesting. Looking at the photo reminds me I need to finish labelling my Distress inks.
Right – I am off to hop and leave comments as promised. Join me at Julia’s What’s on your Workdesk Wednesday – you’ll be glad you did. :o)

ETA Here are is a closer look at one of the minibooks. I am giving a talk to mum’s WI group on memory books and I am giving one as a raffle prize. If anyone has any suggestions for page headers for a memory book I’d love to have them. :o)

Thank goodness Smiley pot made an appearance, we were going to report him missing if not. Your mini books are lovely. Titles for a memory book, Memories, My Life, ......hmmm.
Thanks for visiting the bears this week. :)
Your mini books are stunning, Sue. 'Mini book' does not really do them justice! Nice to see the smiley pot survived the week without you xx
Awesome minibooks! Isn't it interesting that you can sit and work at a desk and never notice something undone but when you post a picture you realize that it is? I do that a lot! Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Vickie #1
I still love little flower punches! I have a few, and love to make flowers by stacking up the different sizes & shapes. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #121
Great snapshot of your desk :) That class you gave us was excellent and my minibook is right next to me on my desk so I can enjoy it :) xxx
Love the look of your mini books. I'm sure everyone will be fascinated with them. And how organised are you! I could fill a very large shopping trolley with 'stuff' (though probably unlabelled:) Happy WOYWW, hugs Jenny #135
Hi Sue glad you had a fab time at your retreat! Your memory book is beautiful - I adore mini albums of all kinds and this one is so pretty, love the "sweet as candy" colour palette. I have my bakers twine wound around lolly sticks at the moment - I had temporarily misplaced my dolly pegs! Have a happy crafty week and thanks for your visit. MMx #39
wow. That book is lovely! I just hope I remember it on Sunday for BlogBits :)

Those mini books are gorgeous, so pretty.... As are lots of the things on your desk. The craft village is just off junction 16, it's a funny place, a bit bleak but you can find some different bits and pieces there, so it's worth a look...but don't expect too much!
Hugs, LLJ 36 xx
a great looking desk I love the look of those mini books is there a link to how to make these?
I do love your little trolley such fun

Your mini books are adorable - what a lovely gift someone will get
love the memory mini books. You could use generic titles for memory album pages like...Generations; Family; Past & present; Roots & Wings; or you could try more quirky titles like Affair of the Heart; ties that bind; Special moment; Sparkle;
Sorry cant think of any more just now, hope some are of use.

What a fantastic prize and an inspiration for all the WI ladies who attend. Lovely colours and papers, amazing.
What a great idea to use dolly pegs for storage of bakers twine, lol, I dont have either but will keep the idea in my notebook for when I see some dolly pegs and bakers twine!
Hope the talk goes well, you will be fantastic, how wonderful to be sharing your 'mini book love' around. x
Fantastic minibooks and I love seeing all your 'twine-dolls' gather together like a mini-crowd. Fun! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. Happy, belated, woyww. Marit #79
Those mini books are stunning. Thanks for sharing. Happy belated WOYWW. Caro #61
I love the idea of those mini books. The memory books would be very useful for anyone who has a relative with any form of dementia. Filled with things that remind them of their life and people from their past, they also give visitors something to talk about with them. Thank you for your visit today and your kind wishes. xx Maggie #9
