Yesterday we had a lovely day scrapping at Littlegreen – the sun was shining and the place looked beautiful. I’ve hummed and hahed about moving our crop but I think I’ll leave it as is for now – we’d be hard pushed to find a better location.
We were lucky to have a new shop for the crop – Sarah from SJ Crafts brought along some fab stash to tempt us and I managed to buy a bit (!).
I did two pages. The first is for the weekly challenge set by The Lost Girls on UK Scrappers where we were asked to use
-
cord
-
green and white
-
stamping
I didn’t manage to include any bling to get the final 5 points; it just didn’t seem right for this page.
As you can see in the photo, Beth is having a fine old time playing in a large cardboard box. I printed off the box labels from Google and made one say ‘Contents : one little monkey’ so I could use the cute monkey die cuts from Joyous Cards.
The second page I did features a picture of Michael and his brother with their dog, Sooty. I am guessing it was taken around 1956. In the background is the family’s beloved 1937 Sunbeam Tourer.
I used the sketch from this month’s challenge at The Studio.
