WOYWW 182

Good morning and welcome to my work desk in all its glory! I’m up to my neck in Christmas card making at the moment. This is the first year I’ve made them all by hand and I’ve really enjoyed it. I always protested I wasn’t a card maker; my experience of home made cards was the peel offs and decoupage type, not at all my cup of tea. Then my dear friend Susi introduced me to her beautiful cards … I will never make cards like Susi but at least I enjoy trying! The cards on my desk are copied from a fab card I found via Pinterest on Clean and Simple Cards.

Last week I was really bad at visiting other workdesks – time just overtook me. This week I’ll be a good WOYWWer and have a snoop at loads. :o) Join me at What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday. :o)

Welcome to the world of Christmas Card making - only I have not joined in this year. I usually make 130 or thereabouts and this year it is "zilch". No idea why the mojo has not turned up, but do know that time has run out. So WELL DONE YOU, I take my hat off to you.

Your cards look fab! As the years go by mine get more "elaborate" kind of, but this year I've gone more simple... elegant, hopefully!! Helen, 8

Well done you, it is a nice 'chore' isn't it. I made them all the first year and I hated the sight of them, so I am just making a select few! xxx

They look fab of course.

Love you C&S cards! and yes Christmas card making can become very addictive....LOL and I haven't made but 2 so far. I'm not playing this week ( again) just home between trips for a few days, but needed to peek in and check up on everybody. Have a great week and keep up the good work.

Love those Christmas cards - definitely not the peel off/decoupage type at all. Bet they will be very well received. Hugs, Buttons #43

Lovely cards there. Still spying the jailor rings, could have done with one today as I keep my "few" rolls on a ribbon and dropped it today! Not half as bad as spilling a third of a bottle of Dylusions. What a day! Thanks for visiting me today BJ#7

great looking cards! I have never been able to do clean and simple cause I always want to distress and bling them up! My cats love visiting your blog and watching me feed the Hamish! I can feed him all day long and they just watch and watch and watch...fun diversion if I didn't have to be present! Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving such a nice comment. Have a great week! Looks great. Loving the tape on the rope...I also love the wee little envelopes. Did you use a die for that? They seem to be the perfect size!
Sorry I'm late getting round. I alternate between making it to almost everyone and then some weeks struggling through and only getting about 50%.

Just to let you know I pointed my DH to the jailor's rings on Ebay and he ordered me some and I do believe that is what is in his package today :) I think he got 3 - great excuse to buy some washi tapes now don't you think, although I might put my ribbons on one as the 1" bookring is a tad small! Thanks again BJ
