UKS challenge January wk4

This week on UK Scrappers Violaceous challenged us to

  • use purple and turquoise
  • include butterflies
  • scrap about yourselfcolours of me

These aren’t colours I would normally put together and I am surprised at how well they do go.

I love this photo of me – not only because it’s flattering but more importantly it marks my recovery from being seriously ill with meningitis. I had not long come home from a 3-week spell in hospital and for the first time in ages I felt like getting my hair done. Michael took this lovely photo.

Scrapology January Scraplift

pretty flamingo double Here is my page for this month’s scrap lift competition at Scrapology. We were challenged to use this sketch.

I rarely scrap a double layout and it was a treat to have so much space to fill – I should do it more often.

Thanks for visiting.

CCW January Minikit

Creative Craft World is launching a new kit today. Details are here. I made these two projects with the kit and still have plenty left over for another card. Great value for money.
