With everything I have going on now how did I ever have time to go to work? I've reluctantly decided that something must give, so I am going to finish BtCR. Thank you to everyone who has joined in over the years.
The lovely Krafty Karen has kindly agreed to take over Beat the Christmas Rush on her own blog. Please do support her with links to your Christmas cards. Thanks so much Karen.

Beat the Christmas Rush April 25-May24
OMG I just came here to put up the May sketch challenge and saw I forgot to do BtCR! So sorry to my little band of loyal joiners-in.
From last month’s lovely linkies I have chosen this gorgeous fancy fold card by Mrs A. So striking and I love the little mice!
Christmas Card tally 17
I’m still in my ‘clean and simple’ phase and I am rather pleased with these. The dove is made using the SU bird builder punch and I printed ‘Peace’ on my computer before cutting the card. I am going to do some more of the centre panel and use them on little cards.
It’s not too late to join us in Beating the Christmas Rush – just make your cards and link up here each month … simples.
I so hope a few more will join us this month – you’ll be sorry in December if you don’t! LOL
The small print … please only link new cards. Up to 5 links allowed per person per month. Be nice and mention my blog in your post(s). It’s not necessary, but I’ll be thrilled, if you join my blog as a follower. If you miss a month or two it doesn't matter, come back next month … or the month after.

Beat the Christmas Rush February 25th–March 24th
Christmas Card Tally 6
Here we go with the second Christmas link up for 2015. Our aim is to make 5 cards per month, and to make up for my shortfall last month blush I have made 6 of these cute cupcakes, based on a Pinterest idea which of course I can’t find now - if you recognise it please leave me a comment so I can make an acknowledgement . If you’d like the template for this quick and easy card, it is here. I have used BoBunny Very Vintage Double Dots 6”x6” patterned papers and the Stampin’ Up ticket stamp and punch.
So, will you join us in Beat the Christmas Rush? If you d you will have a pile of cards all done and dusted come November. Just think, no last minute rush! If you miss a month, or only manage one card like me last month! that’s just fine. Dip in and out as you choose. Just link us to your blog post, gallery page or photo hosting site. I will choose my favourite to feature in the next month’s BtCR blog post …
... and my favourite choice from January’s linky was this one by Sarah. I love the stamping and embossing – on her blog Sarah has given details of everything she has used to make her gorgeous card and her card tally is 9 already!
I really hope you will join us,

Sketch challenge 1st-28th February
Welcome to February’s sketch challenge. I seem to have a thing for circles at the moment so you won’t be surprised to see that my sketch features a big one! I will enjoy seeing how you do it – mine is a small circle of card then larger stitched circles, you could use patterned papers or plain cardstock, you could stitch it or draw it … whatever takes your fancy!
My challenge for you is to use the sketch as your starting point and see where your creativity takes you. I’ll choose my favourite to win one of my kits you can see them on the page tab at the top.
Of last month’s super entries I have chosen this page by Karen as my kit winner – I am a great fan of Karen’s work and this one is just lovely!
