Sketch Challenge December 1st-31st

 

So here we are on the countdown to Christmas – and how mean that I can't open my Advent Calendar as it’s a no-choc day for me. Ah well I’ll have a feast on Thursday!
Anyway down to business – your challenge for this month, as always, is to use this sketch as your starting point; you can turn it, leave bits out, add bits to it … how you change things is entirely up to you. Only three links last month – maybe everyone is busy card making or it was a crummy sketch? Thanks so much to my three loyal followers Janet, Patty and Sarah; they don’t miss a month! Stuck?! Sketches

Here’s my page using the Stuck?! sketch for November. I haven’t scrapped in my trademark primary colours in ages – now I remember why I love these colours so much! The photo is of my beautiful great-niece, Sophia, on her eighth birthday earlier this year. How can she be 8 already?!

So that was summer eh? Did I miss it? Here we are in September already and time for a new sketch challenge. To join in just use the sketch as your starting point – you don’t have to stick to it rigidly as you can see from my example.

A super number of entries last month thank you and lovely to see some new names, too. The winner of my kit this month is CraftPopsy with this fab page featuring her daughter at Harry Potter World I am very jealous that they have been there! Isn’t that a great title? And the little wooden potion pots are a perfect touch.

Beat the Christmas Rush June

Christmas Card tally to date 22

This month I have made some cards using Cricut cut gingerbread men and I also cut some felt ones using my Big Shot. I’m not sure how clearly you can see the cards, but each has a little recipe card for making gingerbread. If I really get my act together yea right! I will make some edible ones to give with the cards and the felt tree hanger to make a card and little gift in one.

With everything I have going on now how did I ever have time to go to work? I've reluctantly decided that something must give, so I am going to finish BtCR. Thank you to everyone who has joined in over the years.
