UK Scrappers Weekly Challenge

This week’s challenge at UKS was a bit tricky but once I got my head round what I could do, I really enjoyed it.

The challenge, set by hannahk, asked us to

• use weather related paper and/or embellishments
• use zesty, zingy, happy colours
• tell a story with photos and journalling looking back or forward over six months

Pictures of the changes in little Beth since January work perfectly for the challenge :o) and I was more than happy to take the opportunity to use bright, bold colours, my favourite for scrapping.

Scrapology June Scraplift

Here is my page for the scraplift challenge set by Scrapology this month. We are asked to start with the sketch which is on my right sidebar and to include white space – not at all easy for me! The photos were taken on our recent trip to Cornwall where we stayed in a cottage with my sister and her family. It was Sophia’s birthday a couple of days before, and also the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, so we had plenty of excuses for partying!

Anyway here’s what I did with the sketch.
