PS Here's how my room looked when I first 'moved in'. I wouldn't want you to see how it is now!

Those lovely people over at The Eternal Maker have a competition open for a chance to win …
And here’s my entry …
“When I was a little girl we lived in Gosport and to go over to Portsmouth was a huge adventure. Once a year we were given a real treat - we would get in my dad's motorbike and sidecar and go across on the floating bridge to see the fairies in the gardens at Southsea. For this special trip I would have worn the hopscotch skirt with a jumper knitted by my mum.”
Go and have a look to see what you need to do. Hurry up though – it ends in a couple of days.
Sarah has included fuller details about the tags on her blog, Scraps of Sarah.
I wanted to take something nice to munch on so yesterday afternoon I had my second attempt at making cupcakes. I tried a recipe I found online and it made a very tasty and moist sponge. I need to practise the icing bit but, on the whole they weren’t half bad, even if I do say so myself,. :o)
I made them in my food processor but added the ingredients in the traditional way, butter and sugar, then eggs and vanilla extract a bit at a time with a little flour. Then remaining flour on a low speed.
I bought the edible buttons from funkycupcaketoppers on Ebay.

Such a lovely peaceful day today, scrapping with Tamsyn and Katie at Jendenink. I really enjoyed it and managed 2 pages. The first, Times Past, is for next week’s Play Along with the Scrap Factor on UKScrappers for which we were challenged to scrap without using patterned paper. Yikes!
I have used a couple of photos from our trip to Cornwall last week when we visited Jamaica Inn (of Daphne du Maurier fame).
The second, School Days, is an old school photo that I’ve played around with – probably more ‘my style’ this one.
Thanks for visiting,

Here’s a card I’ve been working on for my niece’s wedding in August. I’ve used a card template from the Polka Doodles CD Paper Boutique and the True Love Kit from the Make and Create Shop.
