Yesterday, at school we marked the occasion of the Royal Wedding with a garden party. The highlight of the party was when one of the teachers, wearing her wedding dress, appeared on the balcony with her husband. They were married last summer and Anna was delighted to have another opportunity to put on her lovely dress. They wore William and Kate masks and there was no convincing some of the younger boys that they really hadn’t seen a princess!
Today, Jan and I cropped at Jendenink. We watched the wedding on TV there and I scrapped some of the photos from yesterday.

My page shows a photo of me, probably around 7 months old. I’m wearing my dad’s submariner’s cap and mum says I’m sitting in my grandparents’ garden in Gosport.

Well I volunteered to set this week’s challenge at UKS so I can’t moan that it’s a tough one! LOL. To meet my challenge you are asked to
* scrap with any shape but square
* use no brads, buttons or blooms and no patterned papers
* include one or three photos
* use pinks/purples or oranges/browns colour palettes
Here are my examples
I hope you’ll have a go.

Last Thursday Jan, Sarah and I spent a happy day crafting at Jendenink in Fareham. Jen showed us how to make these gorgeous Tim Holtz-style tags. We got very messy, not usually my thing, but the results were well worth it. If you’d like more details about what we did and how we did it, pop over to Sarah’s blog.
Thanks for visiting.
